Sonja is 26 years old. She passed her A-Levels successfully at Goethe-Schule, Neu-Isenburg and got her Masters degree in Mathematics at Technical University, Darmstadt. Now, she is doing her PhD.
2008 Sonja passed a term abroad in Chennai, India. During this time she was student of the bharathanatyam dancer Mrs. Lakshmi Ramaswami.
In january 2011 and again in january 2012 she gained an insight into the classical dancestyle Kathak, through short intensive courses by Mysore B. Nagaraj and Dr. Suparna Venkatesh in Bangalore.
